Architectural Registration Exam (ARE) General Structures and Lateral Forces Review Workshops.

The General Structures and Lateral Forces Review Workshops presented by PREPA.R.E., Inc., focus on the structural  engineering concepts, principles and calculations with which the candidate will need to be familiar to pass the exams.  Though the workshop is primarily focused on problem solving, broader topics and concepts are addressed through application and discussion.

Who should attend the workshop:

Architectural Candidates preparing to take the A.R.E General Structures and Lateral Forces exams.

Practicing architects and interns who desire a refresher course in structures.

Goals of the Workshop:  

Prepare Architectural Candidates for the General Structures and Lateral Forces Exam by using my experience and education in architecture and structural engineering.

Relate the fundamental principles of structural engineering through problem solving and discussion of real life examples where these items are encountered.

The workshop should not only be a refresher course in structures, but it should give the attendant more confidence and tools to help them in their daily practice.
